Majestic House Flat 1 - New Spacious 1 Bedroom Apartment in Borehamwood

Positive: Great location. Excellent communication by staff - especially Fernando Negative: Nothing.

Place was great, host was awesome, would love to come back. Positive: I actually was worried about the property when I booked it in the beginning as I have never been outside central London. However, this place exceeded my expectations, there was every single utensil you ever needed on the property, beds were comfortable, extra sheets and blankets were given, place was tidy and clean, there is a rail station right next to the property which makes it easy to travel to central london and there is a bus stop right in front of the property too. Plus the surrounding area was lovely, small shops, grocery stores, pubs, so many food options etc. And the host Fernando is awesome, always got back to be asap whenever I messaged for something, he’s always on top of things! If I come back to London I would love to be in Borehamwood again! Negative: Shower door was a bit weird and water would fall sometimes but besides nothing else.

Clean flat, great location, responsive hosts! Positive: Friendly, fast responses from hosts; great location close to station, shops and restaurants. Easy access, late arrival no problem. Negative: Not great sound-proofing - quite loud and busy nights (pub next door AND loud neighbours with music blaring all night long). Particularly annoying not only for adult guests but also for young child trying to stay asleep.

Small improvement needed and we will definitely return! Positive: - Spacious apartment and convenient location, few train stations to city centre - walking distance to Elstree & Borehamwood train station - bus stop right outside the unit - washer and dryer with detergent provided - dishwasher and fully equipped kitchen - very responsive and accommodating host (informed that one glass in the kitchen was broken - not by us, also the clock has no battery, next day he delivered the glasses and batteries) - close to many restaurants, pub, takeaways and Sainsbury's local - short walk to big grocery stores, library, church, parks - floor heating - we had breakfast in the apartment every morning viewing the morning traffic, our little one loved it. - a fan was provided Negative: - host forgot to arrange for the crib and high chair that was agreed upon booking despite my multiple checks; we had to wait for him to deliver it and we set up ourselves when we were already very tired from a 14 hour flight and jetlag. - one of the beds were partially sinking, could only sleep on one side of it - the heating system was preset and confusing.. We had jetlag and woke up middle of night feeling freezing cold, while some other time it was really warm. Unsure how to properly set it to our comfy - expired coffee/kitkat capsules provided in the cabinet - wifi was down from time to time and have to text host to reset the router (not accessible from the apartment, it seems like we are using wifi from another unit in the same building) - first night (Saturday) there was loud music playing until 1+am from next door, our little one kept crying "to return the favour" / but it was quiet for the rest of our stay there after reflecting it to the host
