Negative: They only thing was the kitchen, could have done with some kitchen and tin foil, just for cooking.

Positive: The host, Fernando, was very responsive and quickly resolved the issue with the broken door lock, which appeared to be due to poor maintenance. The rooms are a really good size, with convenient en-suite bathrooms. We also appreciated the clean bedding and the generous supply of towels. Negative: Unfortunately, despite the host responding quickly to the door-lock issue, we were very dissatisfied with the overall condition of the property. We did not feel comfortable in the particular area where the property is located. All rooms have only fully lined curtains, meaning that if you open them to let in natural light, you have very little privacy. The kitchen has no blinds, curtains or other window coverings at all. The whole apartment is in need of significant refurbishment and maintenance. There is only one carpet, and it was extremely dirty. The apartment was also very dusty. We also found ants in the kitchen, apparently coming from the garden. The garden itself is in an appalling and completely unmaintained condition. The entrance to the property was also not clean and had spider webs, exposed wires and rubbish around it. The rubbish bin was already full when we arrived. Several of the doors were also squeaking, no locks or broken locks. Overall, the property requires a substantial amount of cleaning, maintenance and refurbishment. Unfortunately, the condition of the property and the surrounding area made us feel uncomfortable and did not meet the standard we expected.

Fantastic! Stay in Slough Positive: The property was exactly as advertised. It was in a good location with good access to local shops as well as public transport. It was clean and spacious and the owner was extremely helpful. Negative: The fridge was a bit small for eight people to use and the beds could have been comfier

Positive: Clean, comfortable spacious house. Host was very responsive prior to our arrival. Check in and out quick and easy. Clean towels and bedding. Toiletries provided. Negative: Maintenance let the property down. There were a number of obvious problems which should have been fixed before our arrival. Back garden also needs some attention.

Overall it was pleasant and suited our needs apart from the garden Positive: The property was clean and modern and comfortably slept 10 people. Fernando was very helpful and responsive and generously offered to host us as a group of 11. It is very conveniently located for Legoland with only around a 10/15 minute drive. Also easy to get the train into London which is only 20 minutes. There were fans for every room which was essential when we visited in 30+ degree temperatures. Negative: The garden is unfortunately not great. We visited with 3 children in high temps and we could not use the garden due to the state of the grass and lack of seating which was disappointing. Also the fridge/freezer are quite small for a house accommodating 10 people. And the living room area only has space for 4/5 people to sit which wasn’t a huge issue for us as we weren’t spending a large amount of time in there. However if you are looking for a space to come together as a large group, this might be something to consider.
